The Opinions of Theorists on Suzidilara Maqam and Examination of Works Based on Maqami

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Türk mûsikî kuramcılarının nazariyat kitaplarında Suzidilara makamının tarif ediş biçimleri ve bu makamda bestelenen eserlerin makam tarifine uygunluğu, işlenişi ve kullanımını belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Suzidilara makam tanımını yapan farklı on kuramcının görüşlerinden yararlanılmış ve 52 adet çeşitli formlarda eser incelemesi yapılmıştır. İncelenen eserler, bestelendiği tarih göz önüne alınarak Suzidilara makamının terkibi hakkında fikir sahibi olunmuştur. Ulaşılabilen 52 adet eserin her birinin dizisi ve makam özellikleri tespit edilmiş, on kuramcının görüşleriyle ne derece örtüştüğünün neticesi ortaya konulmuştur. Kuramcı görüşlerinin ve incelenen eserlerin doğru orantılı olup olmadığı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Analiz sürecinde, önce 'makam' ve 'makam özellikleri' kavramları ele alınmıştır. Sonra araştırma için saz eserleri ve sözlü eserler olmak üzere çeşitli formlarda 52 adet eserin makamsal analizi açısından uygunluğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın, incelenen eserlerin sonuçlarına göre Suzidilara makamı tarifinin standartlaşmasına katkı sağlaması amaçlanmaktadır.

The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of the works of Turkish music theory in the form of the Suzidilara in the theoretical books of the Turkish language and to determine the appropriateness, processing, and use of the works of Suzidilara based on a scientific reality. For this purpose, the views of ten different theorists who made the definition of Suzidilara maqam were utilized and fifty-two works of various forms were examined. Considering the date of his compositions, the works have been taken into consideration about the composition of the Suzidilara maqam. The sequence and maqam characteristics of each of the fifty-two artifacts were determined and the result of the overlapping of the ten theorists' views was revealed. Theorist views and the works examined were tried to be determined whether it is proportional. First, the concepts of maqam and maqam features 'are discussed. Then, for the research, the suitability of the fifty-two works in various forms, including the instrument works and oral works, was determined. Research, according to the results of the works of the Suzidilara maqam will be the source of the tool.
