Remote Sensing of Lake Van Coast Morphology Analysis Method
Abstract
Bu tez çalışmasında kapalı havzaların limnolojik açıdan ve oluşumlarına göre göl çeşitleri açıklandı. Kıyı erozyonu, kıyı erozyonunun ardından kıyılarda meydana gelen tahribat Dünya üzerinde buna benzer yapılan çalışmalar ve çözüm önerileri örneklerle anlatıldı. Van Gölü, karakteri, konumu, oluşumu, jeolojik özellikleri, hidrodinamik yapısı, sediment kaynakları ve Van Gölü' nü besleyen su kaynakları hakkında açıklamalar yapıldı. Van Gölü' nü dökülen ve dört büyük dere olan Güzelsu Çayı, Bendimahi Deresi, Zilan Deresi ve Deliçay Deresinin özellikleri, dereler üzerine kurulan barajların tarihçeleri, bağladıkları sediment miktarlarına değinildi. D.S.İ. 17.Bölge Müdürlüğün' den alınan su seviyeleri incelenerek kot olarak birbirne yakın olan yıllar seçildi. Harita Genel Komutanlığın' dan elde edilen aynı yıllara ait orto-fotolar altlık olarak kullanılarak ArcMap programından kıyı çizgileri belirlenerek Van Gölü' ne dökülen dört derenin kıyı deltalarında ki kıyı kenar çizgisindeki değişim belirlendi. Çizimlerle, hesaplarla ve tablolarla kıyı deltalarındaki birikme ve aşınma miktarları hesap edildi. Ulaşılan sonuçlar ve çözüm önerileri anlatıldı.
In this thesis, the types of lakes are explained according to the limnological aspects of the closed basins and their formations. Coastal erosion, the destruction of coasts after coastal erosion, similar studies in the world and solution proposals were explained with examples. Explanations were made about Lake Van, its character, location, formation, geological features, hydrodynamic structure, sediment resources and water resources feeding Van Lake. The features of Güzelsu Stream, Bendimahi Stream, Zilan Stream and Deliçay Stream, which are the four big streams pouring into Van Lake, the history of the dams built on the streams, the amount of sediment they connect were mentioned. D.S.İ. By examining the water levels taken from the 17th Regional Directorate, the years close to each other in terms of elevation were selected. By using the ortho-photos of the same years obtained from the General Command of the Map as a base, the shorelines of the ArcMap program were determined and the change in the shoreline of the coastal deltas of the four streams pouring into Van Lake was determined. The amount of accumulation and erosion in the coastal deltas were calculated with drawings, calculations and tables. Obtained results and solution suggestions were explained.
