Subhî es-Sâlih’in Mebâhis fî ʿUlûmi’l-Kur’ân Örneğinde Mekkî ve Medenî Sûreler

Abstract

Bu çalışmamızda, 'Ulûmü'l-Kur'ân' literatürü kapsamında olan Subhî es-Salih'in 'el-Mebâhis fî 'Ulûmi'l-Kur'ân' adlı eserinde yeni bir bakış açışıyla ele alınan Mekkî ve Medenî âyet ve sûreler konu edinilmiştir. Çalışmamızın temel sorusunu şöyle ifade edebiliriz: Mekkî ve Medenî sûrelerin tespit ve yorumunda Subhî es-Salih'in yaklaşımı nasıldır? Onun bu alana kattığı yenilikler nelerdir? Ayrıca vahyin anlaşılması ve tefsirinde önemli bir bahis olan Mekkî ve Medenî sûrelerin tasnifi ve incelenmesi, Kur'ân âyetlerinin nüzul ortamını, muhtevasını ve hedeflerini doğru bir şekilde anlayabilmek için vazgeçilmez bir araç olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bu minvalde Subhî es-Salih Mekkî ve Medenî âyet ve süreler konusunda nasıl bir yaklaşıma sahip olduğunu öğrenmeye çalışacağız. Bu çalışmamızdan hedeflediğimiz amaç; Subhî es-Salih'in 'Mebâhis fî 'Ulûmi'l-Kur'ân' adlı eserinde Mekkî ve Medenî âyet ve sûreler konusundaki yaklaşımını tespit etmeye çalışmaktır. Çünkü Mekkî ve Medenî sûrelerin ayırt edici özellikleri, bu sûrelerde işlenen temel konular ve her iki dönemin İslâm daveti üzerindeki etkilerinin anlaşılmasına ışık tutmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bu araştırmada müellif ve eser merkezli bir yöntem takip edilmiştir. Ayrıca Subhî Salih'in elde etmiş olduğu tespitler için yapmış olduğu yorumlarda takip ettiği prensipleri ortaya koymak adına analiz yöntemine başvurulmaya gayret edilmiştir. Müellifin eserinde işlediği örneklerden yola çıkarak tümevarım metodu ile sonuçlara ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Subhî Salih'in bakış açısıyla Mekkî ve Medenî Âyet ve sûreleri çalışma konusu yaparak, bu konunun daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunmayı düşündük. Çalışmamız sırasında Mekkî ve Medenî sûreler bağlamında çeşitli analizlerde bulunmaya gayret ettik. Böylece Kur'ân-ı Kerîm mesajının daha iyi anlaşılmasına ve tefsir çalışmalarına, azda olsa bir hizmette bulunmayı amaçladık. Anahtar Kelimeler: Mekkî, Medenî, Kur'ân, sûreler.

In this study, we address the Meccan and Medinan verses and surahs as examined from a novel perspective in Subhī al-Sālih's al-Mabâḥith fī 'Ulūm al-Qur'ān, a work situated within the 'Ulūm al-Qur'ān (Qur'anic sciences) tradition. The central research question of this paper can be formulated as follows: What is Subhī al- Sālih's approach to the identification and interpretation of Meccan and Medinan surahs? What innovations does he contribute to this field? Furthermore, the classification and examination of Meccan and Medinan surahs-an essential issue in understanding revelation and tafsīr-is considered an indispensable tool for comprehending the historical context, content, and objectives of Qur'anic verses. Within this framework, we seek to determine how Subhī al-Sālih conceptualizes Meccan and Medinan verses and surahs. The primary aim of this research is to analyze Subhī al-Sālih's approach to Meccan and Medinan surahs in his al-Mabâḥith fī 'Ulūm al-Qur'ān. The distinctive features of these surahs, the principal themes they address, and the influence of each period on the İslâmic mission shed light on the broader understanding of Qur'anic revelation. Accordingly, this study adopts an author- and text-centered methodology. Moreover, in order to elucidate the principles underlying al-Sālih's interpretations of his findings, an analytical method has been employed. By means of inductive reasoning, conclusions have been drawn from the specific examples provided in his work. By engaging with Meccan and Medinan surahs from the perspective of Subhī al-Sālih, this study seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of this subject. Throughout the research, particular attention has been paid to conducting analyses within the framework of Meccan and Medinan surahs. Thus, albeit modestly, this study aims to serve both the understanding of the Qur'anic message and exegetical scholarship. Keywords: Meccan, Medinan, Qur'ān, Surahs
