The Level of Adoption of Constructivist Primary School Programme by Teachers (The Hakkari Case)
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı 2005 yılında yenilenen ilköğretim programlarının öğretmenler tarafından benimsenme düzeyini saptamak ve program geliştiricilere programların etkililiği hakkında bilgi vermektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan anket verileri, Hakkâri ilinde 2012–2013 Eğitim- Öğretim yılında 345 ilköğretim kurumunda görev yapan 1483 öğretmen içerisinde 1123 sınıf ve branş öğretmenlerine sunulmuş ve anket verilerinden elde edilen sonuçlar ele alınarak problem incelenmiştir. Bu Araştırmada toplanan verilerin analizinde Aritmetik ortalama, Standart sapma, Ki-kare testi, Kruskal-Wallis testi, Mann-Whitney U testine göre değerlendirilerek 5 farklı istatistiksel analiz kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda öğretmenlerin yenilenen ilköğretim programına ait görüşlerinin olumlu düzeyde olduğu, erkek öğretmenlerin kadın öğretmenlere göre programa daha olumlu baktıkları, mesleki kıdem, sınıf mevcutları, mezun oldukları fakülte ve ile programı benimseme durumu arasında bir ilginin olmadığı, branşlara göre öğretmenlerin programa ait görüşlerinin farklılaştığı gözlemlenmiştir. The aim of this work is to determine the level of adoption of the renewed primary school programme by the teachers and to give information about the efficiency of the programme to the programme developers. The questionnairre data was prepared acccordingly and applied to 1123 classroom teachers and others out of 1483 teachers in Hakkari in the 2012-2013 education year. In the analysis of this research arithmetic mean, standart deviation, Chi-squared test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Mann-Whitney U tests were used. As the result of the analysis, teachers had positive ideas about the renewed primary school programme and male teachers were more positive than female teachers. Teachers' ideas changed only according to their fields. Teachers' experience, the number of the students in the classroom or the department they graduated from did not effect the level of adoption of the programme.
