ÖZETBu araştırmada, Van AGSL' de, piyano eğitim almakta olan öğrencilerinbaşarı seviyelerinin, onların algı stilleri doğrultusunda uygulanacak üç çeşit teknik ileyükseltilebileceğini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Piyano eğitiminde öğrencininöğrenme durumu temel olarak üç grupta değerlendirilmektedir: görsel, işitsel vedokunsal. Öğrencinin bu öğrenme durumlarından hangisini ağırlıklı olarakkullandığını, diğer bir deyiş ile öğrencinin algı stilini saptayabilmek için, NLP' yedayalı ?Temsil Sistemleri? tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır.Deneme ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere, 5' er öğrenciden oluşan iki öğrencigrubu oluşturulmuştur. Deneme grubu öğrencilerinin temsil sistemleri doğrultusundaöğrencilere çeşitli gözlemler yapılmış, sorular sorulmuştur. Öğrencilerin farklı temsilsistemlerini kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir.Daha önceden belirlenmiş bir eser, hem deneme hem de kontrol grubuyla ikihafta boyunca çalışılmıştır. Ancak deneme grubuyla temsil sistemlerine yönelik üççeşit teknikle çalışılmış, kontrol grubuna herhangi bir teknik uygulanmamıştır.İki haftalık çalışma sürecinin sonucunda, performanslar ölçülmüş ve denemegrubunun performansının, kontrol grubunun performansından belirgin bir ölçüdeyüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Temsil sistemleri doğrultusunda, görsel, işitsel vekinestetik oldukları belirlenen öğrencilere uygulanan bu tekniklerin, onların başarıdüzeylerini arttırdığı tespit edilmiştir.

48ABSTRACTThis research was concucted to expose that, the success level of pianostudents who attend to Van AGSL, can be raised by the techniques which areapplied according to their perception styles. In piano education, learning formsare acceptanced in three groups: Visual, auditory and kinestetic. To determinethe learning styles of the students, the? Representational System? techniquewhich is involved in NLP, is used.Two groups were constituted as experimental and control groups. Eachgroup consists of five piano students. In the direction of ? RepresentationalSystem Techniques?, the students were observed and asked some questions. Andit was determined that, the students had been using different perception styles.Firstly, a work of music was choosed. Than, it was worked with bothexperimental and control groups by two weeks. But with experimental group,three technics directed representational systems were used. No technic was usedwith control group.After two weeks working process, performances were measured and itwas determined that, the performance of the experimental group was clearlyhigher than the performance of the control group.It was determined that, these three techniques employed on visual,auditory and kinestetic students, increase their success level.
