Using the Computer Database Program in Biodiversity Field

Abstract

Bu tez biyolojik çeşitliliği görsel olarak sunmayı amaçlayan metodik bir çalışmadır. Bu amaçla bir bilgisayar veri tabanı programı üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Bu program ile canlı çeşitliliği çok yönlü olarak sorgulanabilir. Yerel, bölgesel ve ülke çapında verilerin bu programa girilmesi mümkün olduğu gibi, zaman içerisinde bir tür ile ilgili dünya çapında yayılış bilgileri, habitat tipleri, beslenmesi ve biyolojisi gibi bilgilere de ulaşmak mümkün olacaktır. Verimli çalıştırılırsa, sürekli veri girişi ile zenginleşecek, ortak bilgi havuzu oluşacaktır. Bu bilgiler, ilgi duyan geniş kitlelere ulaşarak insanları canlı türleri ve çevre konusunda bilinçlenmesinde yardımcı olacaktır. Program, Van Bahçesaray ilçesinde toplanılan 134 kelebek türü üzerinde uygulaması yapılmış ve çalışır duruma getirilmiştir.

This thesis is a methodical study aiming to present biodiversity visually. For this purpose, a computer database program has been studied. With this program, diversity of living organisms can be questioned as multi-faceted. Local, regional and country-wide data can be entered into this program, as well as information about the distribution of a species worldwide over time, habitat types, nutrition and biology will be able to access information. If it is run efficiently, it will be enriched with continuous data entry and a common information pool will be created. This information will help to reach the broad audiences who are interested in raising awareness about the existing species and environment. The program was carried out on 134 butterfly species collected in Van Bahçesaray district.
