Preparation, Washing, Embedding of the Dead, Tomb Visit and Condolence Applications in the Period of Prophet Mohammad

Abstract

Fizyolojik olarak diğer canlılarla ortak özellikleri olan insan, akıl sahibi ve sosyal bir yapıya sahip olması itibariyle diğer canlılardan daha üstündür. Bu üstünlük ölüm anında ve ölümünden sonra yapılan işlemlerde de kendini göstermektedir. Bu işlemlerde semavi dinler ile beşeri ideolojiler arasında farklılıklar olduğu gibi semavi dinlerin kendi aralarında da bu konuda farklılıklar vardır. Bu çalışmamızda öncelikle İslamiyet'ten önce, semavi dinler ile semavi olmayan bazı inanışlardaki cenaze uygulamaları incelenmiştir. Ardından insanlığın en parlak dönemi olan Asr-ı Saadet'te bir insanın ebedi âleme intikali ve bu çerçevede yapılan uygulamalar incelenmiş, son olarak da Hz. Peygamber ile ilk dört halifenin cenaze işlemleri ayrı bir bölüm olarak ele alınmıştır. Hz. Peygamber'in yaşadığı dönemde bir insanın ölümü ile başlayıp, ölünün yıkanması, kefenlenmesi, gömüleceği yere kadar taşınması, kabre defnedilmesi, kabir ziyareti ve taziye uygulamaları ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmadaki amaç İslam öncesi toplumlardaki cenaze işlemleriyle İslam'ın ilk yıllarında Hz. Peygamber'in öğrettiği şekliyle yapılan cenaze işlemlerinin bir arada toplanmasıdır. Bu şekilde cenaze uygulamalarının İslam'dan önceki, İslam'ın ilk yıllarındaki ve Hz. Physiologically, human beings, which have common features with other living things, are superior to other living things in terms of having a smart and social structure. This superiority is also evident in the death and post-mortem procedures. In these processes, there are differences between heavenly religions and human ideologies as well as heavenly religions themselves. In this study, first of all, before the Islam, the funeral practices in the celestial religions and non-celestial religions were examined. Then, in the Asr-ı Saadet, the most brilliant period of humanity, a person's transition to the eternal realm and the applications made within this framework were examined. The funeral procedures of the Prophet and the first four caliphs were considered as a separate section. Beginning with the death of a human being during the period of the Prophet's life, the washing of the dead, shrouding, transport to the place of burial, burial burial, visit to the grave and condolence practices were examined in detail. The aim of this study is to see the funeral process in pre-Islamic societies in the first years of Islam. It is the gathering of the funeral proceedings as taught by the Prophet.
