As a Source for History Researchs Problem of Migration and Settlement in Turkey and Its Reflections To the Cumhuriyet Newspaper (1930-1938)

Abstract

Türkiye, geçmişten günümüze kitlesel göçlerin hedefi haline gelmiş, bu göçler ülkenin demografik ve sosyal yapısında önemli değişimlere yol açmıştır. Daha kuruluş yıllarında mübadele deneyimi ile hızlı bir göç sürecini yaşayan Türkiye, 1930'larda yeni kitlesel göçlerle karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Bu dönemde, özellikle Balkanlardan gelen göç akınlarına maruz kalmış, zamanla yeni göçlerin kabulü nüfusu attırmaya yönelik bir politika öznesi olarak kullanılmıştır. Ancak, ülkeyi hedef alan göç kitlelerinin meydana getirdiği sorunlar ve iskân mecburiyeti çeşitli problemleri de beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu süreçte yaşanan göçler ve yarattığı sorunlar basında yoğun şekilde yer bulmuştur. 'Tarih Araştırmalarına Kaynak Olarak Türkiye'deki Göç ve İskân Sorununun Cumhuriyet Gazetesi'ndeki Yansımaları (1930-1938)' adlı bu çalışmamızda Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türkiye'ye yönelen göçlerin basındaki yankıları Cumhuriyet Gazetesi örneğinde bilimsel bir bakış açısıyla ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma, giriş, özetler, indeksler ve ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında, 1930'lu yıllarda Türkiye'deki göç hareketleri hakkında tarihsel süreç aktarılarak dönemin göç deneyimi incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, göç ve iskân konulu haberler, köşe yazıları, röportajlar ve ilanlar, dönemin dil yapısı korunmaya çalışılarak özgün şekilde özetlenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, tespit edilen içerikler indekslenerek araştırmacıların kullanımına sunulmuştur. Son bölümde ise, araştırmanın ana eksenini oluşturan 1930-1938 dönemi göç ve iskân sürecinde yaşanan sorunlar ele alınmış, Cumhuriyet Gazetesi'nin göç konusundaki bakış açısı irdelenmiştir.Turkey has become the target of mass migration from past to present, and these migration processes have led to significant changes in our demographic and social structure. Turkey experienced a exchange migration process with its exchange experience during its founding years and faced new mass migrations in the 1930s. During this period, it was subjected to migratory influxes, especially from the Balkans, and over time the adoption of new migrations was used as a policy subject for discarding the population. However, the problems caused by the migration masses targeting the country and the subsequent forced resettlement brought about various problems. The migrations and the problems they created during this period were heavily featured in the press. In this study, 'Reflections Of The Migration And Settlement Problem In Turkey As A Source For Historical Research In Cumhuriyet Newspaper (1930-1938)', we tried to address the repercussions of the migration to Turkey in the early republican period from a scientific point of view in the case of Cumhuriyet newspaper. This study consists of introduction, summaries, indexes and main section. In the introduction, migration experience about the historical process of transferring migration periods in Turkey in 1930 were investigated. In the second part, news, columns, interviews and advertisements on migration and settlement are summarized in an original way, trying to protect the language structure of the period. In the third section, the detected contents are indexed and made available to researchers. In the last part, the problems experienced during the 1930-1938 period of immigration and settlement, which constitute the main axis of the study, were discussed, and the perspective of Cumhuriyet Newspaper on migration was examined.
