Abstract
Çalışmamızın kapsamını oluşturan Mardin Müzesi Osmanlı Dönemi silah ve erkek aksesuarları olup, teknik, süsleme, form, malzeme gibi birçok açıdan incelenerek ele alınmıştır. Osmanlı yaşantısıyla bütünleşmiş olan eserler, silahlarda kılıç, kama ve hançerlerdeki yüksek kalitede çeliğin kullanılması, süslemeleri ve teknikleriyle çeşitlilik göstermektedir. Özellikle aksesuarda kendini gösteren eserler, üzerlerinde farklı yazı hatlarıyla ayetler, isimler ve lafzlar bulundurarak inancında etkisini ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırma konumuzun daha iyi anlaşılması için değerlendirme ve karşılaştırma yapılarak, Anadolu'nun çeşitli yerlerine ait örneklerle eserlerin benzer ve farklı yönleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın son evresinde ise tanıtılmış eserlerden yola çıkılarak, elde edilen bilgilerden bir sonuca varılıp anlatılmıştır.
Mardin Museum, which constitutes the scope of our study, is male weapons and accessories of Ottoman period and it has been studied by examining in many aspects such as technique, decoration, form and material. The artifacts, which are integrated with the Ottoman life, vary with the use of high-quality steel in swords, wedges and daggers in weapons, ornaments and techniques. In particular, the works that show themselves in accessories, verses with different writing lines, names and words, the effect of the belief is revealed. In order to better understand our research topic, evaluation and comparison have been made and similar and different aspects of the works have been tried to be determined with examples from various parts of Anatolia. In the last stage of the study, it is tried to come to a conclusion from the information obtained based on the introduced works.
