The First Qadaris in Islamic Thought or the Formation Prosess of Mutazili Thought

Abstract

Bu çalışma erken dönem İslam düşünce tarihinde ortaya çıkan ilk fırkalaşma örneklerinden İlk Kaderîleri konu edinmektedir. Adından da anlaşılacağı üzere önemli kavramların başından gelen Kader etrafında yapılan tartışmaların sonucunda ortaya çıkmış bir fırkadır. Söz konusu fırkanın çıktığı tartışma ortamına bakıldığında erken dönem İslam toplumunda yaşanan iç olayların gündemi oldukça işgal ettiğini görülmektedir. Bu yaşanılan hadiselerin beraberinde getirdiği problemlerin çözümünün anlaşılması noktasında genel itibariyle sergilenen tartışma kültürü, sorun algılama ve uygulanan problem çözme yöntemlerinin anlaşılması meselesi, bizi İslam öncesi Arap kültürüne ve algılarına yönlendirmektedir. Zira genel olarak mezkûr olaylarda özel olarak da kader konusundaki tartışmalarda İslam öncesi Arap kültür ve algılarının etkisi bariz olarak görülmektedir. Bu yüzden, bu çalışma, önce Kur'an'ın indiği zemin olan cahilî Arap akliyesi ve kader anlayışını tespit etmekle başlamaktadır. İkinci adım olarak bu sosyal zemine inen Kur'an'ın, karşılaştığı ilk kültür olan söz konusu Arap kültür ve algılarını değerlendirmesine ve bu değerlendirmenin nasıl karşılanıp algılandığına bakılacaktır. Böylece cahilî akliyenin nüksettiği örnekler muvacehesinde söz konusu aklın kader tartışmalarında etkisinin derecesi irdelenecektir. Böylece yapılan kader tartışmalarında savunulan argümanları daha iyi anlaşılacaktır. Bu şekilde 'Hür iradeyi' savunan 'İlk Kaderîler'in düşüncelerinin nasıl şekillendiği ve bu düşüncelerin ortaya çıkmasının sebep ve kökeni de delilleriyle temellendirilecektir. Ancak bu çalışmada daha çok İlk Kaderîlerden üç önemli şahsiyet üzerinde durulacaktır.

This study deals with the First Qaderis, one of the first examples of sects that emerged in the history of early Islamic thought. As its name suggests, it is a sect that emerged as a result of discussions around Destiny, one of the most important concepts. When we look at the discussion environment in which the sect in question emerged, it can be seen that the internal events in the early Islamic society occupied the agenda. The discussion culture, problem perception and understanding of the problem-solving methods generally displayed in understanding the solutions to the problems brought about by these events direct us to the pre-Islamic Arab culture and perceptions. Because the influence of pre-Islamic Arab culture and perceptions is clearly seen in the aforementioned events in general and in the discussions about fate in particular. Therefore, this study begins by identifying the ignorant Arab mentality and understanding of destiny, which is the basis on which the Quran was revealed. As a second step, it will be examined how the Quran, descending to this social ground, evaluates the Arab culture and perceptions in question, which is the first culture it encounters, and how this evaluation is received and perceived. Thus, the degree of influence of the ignorant reason in the discussions of fate will be examined in terms of examples where it relapses. Thus, the arguments defended in the fate discussions will be better understood. In this way, how the thoughts of the 'First Qadari' who defend 'free will' were shaped and the reason and origin of the emergence of these thoughts will be based on evidence. However, in this study, we will focus on three important figures from the First Qaderis.
