Hannah Arendt's Political Philosophy and Resources of Totalitarianism

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Hannah Arendt'in siyaset felsefesinde totalitarizmin kaynakları ve doğurduğu sonuçlar incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Genel olarak Arendt'in hayatı, eserleri, üzerinde önemle durduğu temel kavramlar, siyaset anlayışı ve düşünce tarihindeki yeri ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde, Arendt'in hayatı, eserleri, siyaset felsefesi ve felsefesinde üzerinde durduğu temel kavramlar ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde, totalitarizm kavramı genel hatlarıyla tanımlanmaya çalışılmış, ardından totalitarizmin gelişimi, süreç içerisinde nasıl evrildiği, ortaya çıktığı coğrafyalarda nelere sebebiyet verdiği, tarihte totalitarizm yanlısı düşünürler bu düşünürlerin liderler üzerindeki etkileri ve modern çağda totalitarizmin nasıl bir çehreye büründüğü konuları üzerinde durulmuştur. Arendt'in totalitarizm tanımlaması, bu konuya getirdiği özgün yorumlar, eleştiriler bunların yanı sıra üzerinde önemle durduğu totalitarizmin kaynakları ile büyük politik kötülükler olarak tanımladığı; emperyalizm, antisemitizm, faşizm ve bolşevizm konuları üçüncü bölümde ele alınmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda elde edilen bulgular sonuç bölümünde değerlendirilmiştir.

In this study, Hannah Arendt's sources of this thoughts with inflicted of these results were analized. This study is consist of three chapters, Arendt?s life, her works and basic concepts which she insisted on importantly, her political view and her place of philosophy in history were came up generally. In fırst chapter, Arendt's life, her works and basic concepts which she insisted on were came up. In second chapter, it was tried to define in general terms the concept of totalitarianism, then the development of totalitarianism, how in the process evolved, giving caused to what in geographies where it was appeared, the history of the effects of totalitarianism on the pro-thinkers and leaders in this new century thinkers assumed how they have a vision which has focused on totalitarianism. Arendt's definition of totalitarianism, brought this issue unique reviews, critiques; in addition to these totalitarianism and its sources as well as focused by the context of imperialism, anti-semitism, fascism, communism and bolshevism topics are discussed in the third section. The findings of the study?s results were evaluated in the conclusion chapter.
