Kültür Tarihi Bağlamında Entelektüellerin Toplumsal Algılanışında Geçirdiği Değişim Süreci

Abstract

'Kültür Tarihi Bağlamında Entelektüellerin Toplumsal Algılanışında Geçirdiği Değişim Süreci' adlı tez çalışması; entelektüel olgunun kültür tarihi süreçlerinde yer alma koşullarını incelemektedir. Entelektüel kimliğin toplumsal rolleri bilimsel, siyasal ve kültürel boyutta ele alınmıştır. Entelektüellerin toplumsal rolü incelenirken; farklı görüşlerin entelektüellere yükledikleri sorumluluklar analiz edilmiştir. Tez çalışmasının Kavramsal Analiz bölümünde; çeşitli çevrelerden entelektüellere yönelen eleştirel yaklaşımlar tartışılarak, entelektüel kimliğin toplumsal algılanış biçimlerindeki çeşitlilik, eleştirel bağlamda tartışılmıştır. Tez çalışmasının ikinci bölümünde; entelektüellerin toplumsal algılanışında geçirdiği değişim süreçleri incelenmiştir. Entelektüel kavramının uygarlık tarihi boyunca işlevsel karşılığı olmakla beraber, adlandırma bağlamında Orta Çağ ve sonrasında toplumsal gündemde yer aldığı için değişim süreçleri tartışılırken yoğunluk; Orta Çağ' dan günümüze doğru artırılmıştır. Toplumsal algılanışta uygarlıkların görüş farklılıkları karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Entelektüellerin tarihi ve sosyolojisi konusunda binlerce kitap; entelektüeller hakkında sonsuz sayıda incelemenin varlığı bu konun; tarihin hiçbir döneminde toplumların gündeminden düşmediğini kanıtlayan somut bir gösterge olarak düşünülebilir. Ancak bu olgu bir yandan, yapılan her yeni araştırmaya önemli katkı sağlarken, diğer yandan geçmişin değerlendirmesi ve geleceğe ilişkin öngörülerin oluşturulması bağlamında, görüş çeşitliliğinin rafine edilmesi, araştırmacının yoğun çabasını zorunlu kılmıştır. Disiplinlerarası anlamda çok sayıda sosyal bilim dalının gündeminde yer alan entelektüel kavramının analizi, evrensel bağlamda ele alınmış; ülke, inanç, kültür adacıkları bağlamında özel bir kesit öncelenmemiştir. Çalışma sürecinde araştırmacının öznel görüşleri tartışmaların yorumlanması bağlamında yer almamasına özen gösterilmiştir. Entelektüellerin toplumsal algılanışı ülkemiz özelinde ele alınmamış ancak ülkemiz bilim insanlarının görüşlerine yer verilmiştir. Konu günümüzden sonra da tartışılacağı için kesin bir sonuca varmak yerine, günümüze değin gerçekleşen değişim sürecinin izlenmesi ve gruplandırılması tercih edilmiştir.

The study of thesis called the The Process of Change in the Social Perception on of Intellectuals in the Context of Cultural Hıstory Analyzes of intellectual phenomenon in cultural history processes. The social roles of intellectual identity have been discussed in scientific, political and cultural dimensions. When the social role of intellectuals is examined, the responsibilities imposed by the different views on intellectuals are analyzed. In the Conceptual Analysis section of the thesis study, variations in the social perception of intellectual identity are discussed in critical context by discussing critical approaches to intellectuals from various circles. In the second part of the thesis, the process of change in the social perception of intellectuals are analysed. While the concept of intellectual has a functional equivalent throughout the history of civilization; since it has taken part in Middle Age and later in social agenda intensity of concept of intellectual has been increased frm the Middle Ages to the present when discussing change processes. The differences of opinion of civilizations in social perception are evaluated comparatively. The existence of thousands of books on the history and sociology of intellectuals and an infinite number of studies on them can be considered as a concrete indicator that proves that this issue has never come out from the agenda of societies in any period of history. However, while this phenomenon contributes significantly to each new research, on the one hand, refining the diversity of views in the context of the evaluation of the past and the predictin of the future has made the researcher's intensive effort necessary. Interdisciplinary analysis of the intellectual concept on the agenda of many social sciences has been handled in a universal context, no particular cross-section has been censiedered in the context of country, belief and culture. During the study process, it is taken care that the subjective opinions of the researcher are not included in the context of the interpretation of the discussions. The social perception of intellectuals is not considered in our country but the views of scientists of our country are included. Since the issue will be discussed after today, it is preferred to monitor and group the change process that has taken place until today.
