The Forgiveness Concept in the Quran -The Necessities and Borders-

Abstract

Af, kasıtlı veya kasıtsız olarak kötülük ve haksızlık eden, suç veya günah işleyen birini bağışlamak, cezalandırmaktan vazgeçmek, hakkı olan şeyden kendi isteğiyle vazgeçebilmektir. Hemen hemen tüm dünya dinleri bir 'bağışlama' ve 'bağışlanma' kavramına sahiptir. Bu dünyada yapılan eylemlerin karşılığı ahirette mutlaka görülecektir. Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'de Allah'ın affediciliği ve mağfireti çeşitli vesilelerle ifade edilelerek affın ilahî bir sıfat ve yüksek bir ahlakî meziyet olduğu kesin olarak ortaya konmuştur. Af, yüksek fazilet örneği, onurlu, hatta semavî bir davranıştır. Bu ideal davranışı başarmaya herkesin gücü yetmez. Suçlu bir kimse özür ve af dilediği zaman, onu mazur görmek, en önemli ahlâkî erdemlerden birisidir. Kur'ân'da af Allah'a iman etme ve tevbe şartına bağlanmıştır. Tevbe, bağışlanmak isteyen kimse için önemli bir terapi kaynağıdır. Bağışlama ve bağışlanma ihtiycının karşılanmasından elde edilen haz, su ihtiyacının karşılanmasından daha az öneme sahip değildir. Yine Kur'ân'da, insanların hatadan tamamen uzak olamayacağına da vurgu yapılarak, kusuru olanları affetmesini, insanlara karşı hoşgörülü olmasını Hz. Peygamber'e ve dolayısıyla insanlara emretmektedir. Yanılmaz, hata yapmaz tek varlık Allah'tır. Mutlak af yetkisi ona aittir.

Forgiveness is to be able to give up anything that you have right to or to forgive anybody who does evil and injustice, commit a crime or a sin intentionally or unintentionally. Almost all the religions on the world have the concept of the forgiveness. This world is for actions and we will reap the consequences of our actions in the hereafter (Akhirat). It is stated in the Quran that Allah has the forgiveness which proves the forgiveness as a heavenly attribute and moral virtue. Forgiveness is a paragon of virtue, honored and even a celestial behavior. Everybody cannot achieve to act this ideal behavior. Excusing an offender when he apologizes is one of the most moral virtues. The forgiveness is conditioned to believe in Allah and to repent. Repentance is also an important source of therapy. The pleasure obtained from corresponding to forgiveness need is not less important than corresponding to water need. İt is stated in the Quran that humanity cannot stay away from evil-doing completely and The Quran orders the Prophet Muhammad and the humanity to forgive and to be generous to the evil doers. Allah is the only one who does not make mistakes. Indeed, Allah is the oft-Forgiving and the most Merciful.
