Effects of Pgpr Usage on Yield and Quality of Different Head Lettuce (lactuca Sativa Var. Capitata)

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Van YYÜ Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümü seralarında ve uygulama alanında yapılmıştır. Açık alan ve örtüaltı denemelerinden oluşan çalışmanın her iki bölümünde de üç çeşit baş salata ve üç farklı PGPR izolatının baş salatada bitki gelişimi, verim ve kaliteye etkileri araştırılmıştır. Açık alan deneme parsellerinde Great, Kıvırcık ve Iceberg çeşitleri; sera ortamında ise Chianti, Defne ve Bombolo çeşitleri denenmiştir. Her iki dönemde de PGPR izolatı olarak (Kontrol, FZB42: Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, CC44: Pseudomonas fluorescens ve CC37/2: Pantoea agglomerans) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre yapılan ölçüm ve analizlerde çoğu uygulamada çeşit farklılığının çalışmaya önemli düzeyde etki yaptığı görülürken, PGPR uygulamalarının ise bazı özellikler (özellikle baş ağırlığı, baş çapı ve pH) üzerinde istatistiki olarak farklılıklar yarattığı gözlenmiştir.

This study was carried out in the greenhouses and application area of Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, Van Yil University. The present study consited of two part as open and protected cultivation, and the effects of three varieties of head lettuce and three different PGPR isolates were investigated on the plant growth, yield and quality. In field trial Great, Kıvırcık and Iceberg varieties; In the greenhouse environment, Chianti, Defne and Bombolo varieties were studied. PGPR isolates (Control, FZB42: Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, CC44: Pseudomonas fluorescens and CC37/2: Pantoea agglomerans) were used in both periods. According to the results of the present thesis, it was observed that the variation in had lettuce varieties had a significant effect on the studied traits, while PGPR applications had significant differences on some traits (esperially head weight, head diameter and pH).
