The Value of Shazzah Qiraat in the Context of Various Islamic Sciences

Abstract

Kur'ân'ı Kerîm nazil olduğu tarihten beri inananlar için bir rehber olmuştur. Kur'ân'ın okunuşuyla ibadet edildiği gibi hükümleriyle de amel edilmiştir. Böylesine yüce bir kitabın daha iyi anlaşılması ve kendisiyle amel edilebilmesi için muhatapların onu farklı kırâat biçimleriyle okumalarına ruhsat verilmiştir. İslam toplumu da Allah tarafından verilip Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v)'in uygulamasına dayanan bu ruhsatı titizlikle koruyup tevâtir yoluyla nesilden nesile nakletmiştir. Ancak günümüze ulaşıp tevâtir derecesine ulaşmayan bir takım şâz kırâatlerin varlığı bilinen bir husustur. Bu kırâatler her ne kadar Kur'ân olarak okunmasalar da çeşitli İslâmî ilimlere etkileri sebebiyle önem arz ederler. Örneğin tefsir, Arap dili ve İslâm hukuku şâz kırâatlerin etkilediği başlıca ilimlerdir. Bu çalışmada kırâat ilmi hakkında temel bilgiler verilecek ve şâz kırâatlerin bahsi geçen ilimler üzerindeki etkisi ele alınacaktır.

The Quran has been a guide for believers since it was revealed. Just as it is worshiped with the reading of the Quran as well as its decrees put into practice. In order for such a great book to be understood better and to act with it, the addressees are permitted to read it in different qıraat forms. The Islamic community also has meticulously preserved this license, which was given by Allah and based on the practice of the Prophet, and passed it on from generation to generation through tawatur. However, it is a known matter that there are some shazzah qıraat which have not reached the level of tawatur. Although these qıraat are not read as the Quran, they are important due to their effects on various Islamic sciences. For example, tafsir, Arabic language, and Islamic law are the main sciences influenced by shazzah qıraat. In this study, will be given basic information about the science of qıraat and will be discussed the effect of shazzah qıraat on the mentioned sciences.
