Livestock activities in Patnos district (Ağrı)

Abstract

Bu tez hayvancılık, hayvansal üretim, kırsal bölge hayvancılığı gibi kavramları demografik, sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik coğrafya kapsamında ele alınmıştır. Çalışma Ağrı'nın Patnos ilçesi 34 köy ve 5 mahallesinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada, Patnos ilçesinde yürütülen hayvancılık faaliyetlerinin geçmişi, bu günü ve geleceği ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca Patnos ilçesinde yürütülen hayvancılık faaliyetlerinin temel özelliklerine değinmek amaçlanmıştır. İlçede hayvancılık faaliyetlerinin nasıl yapıldığı üzerine kategorilere ayrılmış bazı sorular sorulmuştur. 175'i köy, 25'i mahalle olmak üzere toplamda 200 anket ve 30 mülakat uygulanmıştır. Yapılan mülakatlarda Patnos ilçesinde hayvancılık faaliyetlerinin geçmiş ile bu gün arasındaki farklılıklar ve geleceğinin nasıl şekilleneceği saptamaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca hayvancılığın önünde görülen engellerin neler olduğu ve ne gibi durumlarda bu engellerin ortadan kaldırılacağı saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Patnos ilçesinde nüfusun % 48'i kırsal bölgede yaşamakta olup, temel geçim kaynağını bitkisel ve hayvansal üretim oluşturmaktadır. Buna bağlı olarak 'Patnos'ta (Ağrı) Hayvancılık Faaliyetleri' adlı bu çalışmada, kırsal bölgede yaşayan insanların temel geçim kaynaklarını belirleyen etkenlerin neler olduğu ve bu etkenlerin zamanla ne gibi değişimlere uğradığını saptamaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın konusu gereği hayvancılık, hayvancılığın doğuşu ve gelişimi, dünyada hayvancılığın mevcut durumu, Türkiye'de hayvancılığın tarihsel süreç içerisinde gelişimi ve dağılışı ve Patnos'ta hayvancılığın tarihi, gelişimi ve mevcut durumu ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca yapılan saha çalışmasında elde edilen verilerin analizi ile ilçede yürütülen hayvancılık faaliyetlerinin mevcut durumu ve gelecekte karşılaşılacağı muhtemel sorunları çitçi ağzıyla aktarılmaya çalışılmıştır. In this thesis, concepts such as animal husbandry, animal production, rural animal husbandry are discussed within the scope of demographic, social, cultural and economic geography. The study was carried out in 34 villages and 5 neighborhoods of Patnos district of Ağrı. In the study, the past, present and future of livestock activities in Patnos district were tried to be discussed. In addition, it is aimed to touch on the basic features of livestock activities carried out in Patnos district. Some questions were asked, divided into categories, on how animal husbandry activities are carried out in the district. A total of 200 questionnaires and 30 interviews were applied, of which 175 were in villages and 25 in neighborhoods. In the interviews, it was tried to determine the differences between the past and the present and how the future of livestock activities in Patnos district will be shaped. In addition, it has been tried to determine what the obstacles in front of animal husbandry are and in what situations these obstacles will be removed. In Patnos district, 48% of the population lives in rural areas, and the main source of livelihood is plant and animal production. Accordingly, in this study named 'Livestock Activities in Patnos (Ağrı)', it has been tried to determine what factors determine the basic livelihoods of people living in rural areas and what changes these factors have undergone over time. Due to the subject of the study, animal husbandry, the birth and development of animal husbandry, the current situation of animal husbandry in the world, the development and distribution of animal husbandry in Turkey in the historical process and the history, development and current situation of animal husbandry in Patnos are discussed. In addition, with the analysis of the data obtained in the field study, the current situation of the livestock activities carried out in the district and the possible problems that will be encountered in the future have been tried to be conveyed with the mouth of a farmer.
