Abstract
Dua Allah ile insanoğlu arasındaki bağdır. Allah'tan başka kendisine dua edilecek bir varlık yoktur. Bütün insanlar ister inanç sahibi olsun ister olmasın dua ederler. Bu yüzden dua tüm insanlara ait bir fenomendir.İnsanlar Allah'a dua ederken zayıflıklarının, acizliklerinin farkındadırlar. Dua sadece bir istek için değil hayatın tüm alanında yapılabilir. Dua Allah ile bağlantıyı koparmamaktır. Dua Allah'tan gelen davete icabettir. Dua çağın hastalığı olan psikolojik hastalık ve bunalımlara çaredir. O hayatın anlamıdır ve insanın Allah katındaki değerini gösterir.İnsanlar her zaman ve her istek için dua edebilir. Çünkü Allah'ın hayatımıza müdahil olmadığı bir zaman dilimi yoktur. Allah Resulü hayatı boyunca dua etmiştir ve dua onun hayatının bir parçası olmuştur.Dua sadece Allah'tan bir isteme değildir. Kur'an'da duanın birçok çeşidine rastlamak mümkündür. Bunlar: Hamd ve şükür duası, tevekkül duası, kurtuluş duası, zafer duası, sabır duası, şifa duası gibi dualardır.Merhamet kaynağı olarak anılan tüm peygamberler dua etmiştir ve onu bir gelenek haline getirmiştir. Kur'an da adı geçen peygamberlerin mutlaka bir duası vardır.Dua derince düşünülüp tefekkür edildiğinde ibadetin temeli, insanların tüm hayat boyu başarısı ve mutluluk kaynağıdır. Fakat yanlış anlaşıldığında manevi hastalıklara neden olabilmektedir.
