The Problems Faced at the Beginning Level of Teachers Teaching Ud Course at Undergraduate Education
Abstract
Geleneksel Türk Müziği sazları içerisinde yer alan ud çalgısının, temel sazlar arasında önemli bir yere sahip olduğu düşünülmektedir. Kullanım kolaylığı nedeniyle ud, günümüzde eğitim ve öğretimi yaygınlaştırılmaya çalışılan bir sazdır. Ud çalgısı üzerine metot çalışmalarının uzun yıllardır sürdüğü bilinmektedir. Bu metot çalışmaları neticesinde ülkemiz müzik eğitim kurumlarında ud çalgısı eğitimi verilmektedir. Ud eğitiminde yapılan eğitim uygulamalarında izlenilen yöntem ve metotların değişkenlik gösterdiği düşünülmektedir. Bu yöntem ve metot değişkenliklerinin ud eğitimindeki problemlere çözüm olup olmadığı merak konusu olmuştur. Çalışmanın temel amacı, ud çalgısının eğitiminde başlangıç seviyesinde yaşanıldığı düşünülen problemlerin tespit edilmesi için öğretim elemanlarından görüş almaktır. Bu bağlamda, ud eğitiminde akademik alanda uzman olan öğretim üyesi ve öğretim görevlilerinin konuya bakış açılarını tespit etmek amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu geliştirilmiş, geliştirilen form konservatuarlarda ud eğitimi veren öğretim elemanlarına uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada uygulanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuna verilen cevaplar ile araştırmanın bulguları oluşturulmuş, bulgular neticesinde sonuçlara ulaşılarak önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre; ud çalgısının boyutlandırılmasında bir standarda ulaşılması gerektiği, nazari bilginin ud öğretim sürecini olumlu yönde etkilediği, meşk yönteminin ud öğretiminde önemli bir yöntem olduğu ve kullanılan metotları desteklediği, kullanılan metot kitaplarının ortak bir dilaltında birleşmesinin olumlu yönde etkileri olacağı yönünde sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Çıkan sonuçlara göre önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
It is thought that the oud instrument, which is among the instruments of Traditional Turkish Music, has an important place among the basic instruments. Due to its ease of use, the oud is an instrument whose education and training is tried to be popularized today. It is known that method studies on the oud instrument have been going on for many years. As a result of these method studies, oud instrument training is given in the music education institutions of our country. It is thought that the methods and methods followed in the training practices in oud training vary. It has been a matter of curiosity whether this method and method variability is a solution to the problems in oud education. The main purpose of the study is to get opinions from the instructors in order to determine the problems that are thought to be experienced at the beginning level in the education of the oud instrument. In this context, a semi-structured interview form was developed in order to determine the perspectives of academic members and lecturers who are experts in the field of oud education, and the developed form was applied to the instructors giving oud education in conservatories. The findings of the research were created with the answers given to the semi-structured interview form applied in the research, and suggestions were made by reaching the results as a result of the findings. According to the results obtained in the research; It was concluded that a standard should be reached in sizing the oud instrument, theoretical knowledge positively affects the oud teaching process, meşk method is an important method in oud teaching and supports the methods used, and combining the used method books under a common language will have positive effects. Suggestions were made according to the results.
