The Syntax of Seyyad Hamza's Joseph and Zeliha

Abstract

Konusunu Kur'an'dan alması, Anadolu sahasında yazılan ilk eserlerden olması ve Türkçe kelime kullanımındaki zenginliği ile Yûsuf u Zelîhâ mesnevisi hem edebî açıdan hem de Türk dili açısından önemli bir eserdir. Eserin yazarı Şeyyâd Hamzâ hakkındaki bilgilerimiz sınırlıdır. Söz konusu eser, kelime grubu ( belirtme grupları, cümle, cümle çeşitleri) açısından oldukça zengindir. Ancak bu zengin kullanımı her kelime grubu için söyleyemeyiz.Örneğin sıfat tamlaması, neredeyse her sayfada kullanılmasına karşın, aitlik grubu sadece bir yerde geçmektedir. Bazı kelime gruplarına ise (belirtme grubu, eşitlik grubu, yaklaşma fiilleri gibi) rastlanmamaktadır. Biz bu çalışmamızda, Şeyyâd Hamzâ'nın Yûsuf u Zelîhâ adlı eserinin söz dizimini kapsamlı olarak ele aldıktan sonra, bulgularımızı hem sayısal hem de yüzdelik oranlarla gösterdik.

To take the matter from Quran, to be one of the first works written ın the Anatolian scene and with the richness of the use of Turkish words Joseph and Zeliha's mathnawi is an important work both in terms of literary and Turkish language. Our knowledge about the writer Seyyad Hamza is very limited. The work in question is quite rich in terms of word groups (phrases, sentence, sentence types). Howerer, we can not say this rich use for every word group. For example, although adjective completion almost every page is used, the group belongings only passes in one place. But at some word groups (expression, equality, approach verbs) are not met. We in this work, after thoroughly addressed the syntax of Seyyad Hamza's Joseph and Zeliha, showed our findings in both numerical an percentage rations.
