Investigation of Heavy Metal Contents of Some Cereals and Legumes Grown in Van Lake Basin

Abstract

Dr. Fevzi KILIÇELOcak 2006, 56 sayfaBu çalışmada Van Gölü havzasında bulunan merkezlerde (Van, Edremit,Gevaş, Tatvan, Ahlat, Adilcevaz, Erciş, Muradiye) yetiştirilen tahıl vebaklagillerden (arpa, buğday, fasulye, mercimek, mısır ve nohut) numuneler, hasatzamanında toplandı. Ayrıca karşılaştırma yapmak amacıyla Van'a bölge dışındangetirilen ve Van piyasasında satılan tahıl ve baklagil numuneleri alındı. Toplanannumuneler uygun yöntemlerle çözelti haline getirilip Alevli Atomik AbsorpsiyonSpektroskopisi (FAAS) metodu ile incelendi. Bu incelemede Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, Co,Cr, Cd, Pb ve Ca konsantrasyonları belirlendi.Elde edilen sonuçlar bölgelere ve numune cinslerine göre değerlendirildi.Değerlendirme sonuçlarına göre bölgede yetiştirilen tahıl ve baklagillerdeki metaliçeriklerinin hangi düzeyde olduğu tespit edildi.Anahtar kelimeler: AAS, Ağır metaller, Baklagiller, Standart, Tahıllari

Prof. Dr. Fevzi KILIÇELJanuary 2006, 56 pagesIn this study, some grain and legume crops (barley, wheat, bean, lentil, cornand chickpea) which were produced from towns located in Lake Van basin (Van,Edremit, Gevaş, Tatvan, Ahlat, Adilcevaz, Erciş and Muradiye) were sampled in theharvest time. Moreover, the commercial products which were taken aoutside ofregion in Van bazonis were taken in order to make comparisons. The collectedsamples were preened as solutions with suitable methods and analyzed with FlameAtomic Absorption Spectroscopy method (FAAS). The concentrations of Fe, Zn,Mn, Cu, Co, Cr, Cd, Pb and Ca were determined at this study.The obtained results were evaluated based on their regions and sampletypes. In overlay evaluation, the amount of metal contents of the mentioned grainand legume crops grown in the region were determined.Key words: AAS, Heavy metals,Legumes, Standard, Grainsiii
