A Faunistic Study on the Sterrhinae Species in Bahcesaray County, Van (geometridae, Lepidoptera)

Abstract

Tezde, Van İli Bahçesaray ilçesindeki Sterrhinae altfamilyası faunistik olarak araştırılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda bu altfamilyadaki 5 tribusa ait toplam 25 tür tespit edilmiştir. Alanda tespit edilen tribuslar ve bunlara ait tür sayıları şöyledir: Sterrhini (10), Scopulini (8), Rhodostrophiini (4), Cosymbiini (2) ve Rhodometrini (1). Idaea proclivata ve Rhodostrophia cuprinaria türleri sadece Doğu Anadolu'da bulunur. Buna karşılık, Rhodostrophia bahara, R.cuprinaria, Idaea proclivata, I. humiliata, Scopula transcaspica ve S. diffinaria türleri ise Türkiye, Kafkasya, Iran ve Afganistan başta olmak üzere lokal olarak yayılış gösterir; bundan dolayı nadir türler olarak değerlendirilir.

In the thesis, Sterrhinae subfamily in Bahçesaray district of Van province was investigated as faunistically. As a result of this study, a total of 25 species of 5 tribus in this subfamily were identified. The tribus found in the area and their species number sare as follows: Sterrhini (10), Scopulini (8), Rhodostrophiini (4), Cosymbiini (2) ve Rhodometrini (1). Idaea proclivata ve Rhodostrophia cuprinaria are foun donly from East Turkey. On the otherh and, Rhodostrophia bahara, R.cuprinaria, Idaea proclivata, I. humiliata, Scopula transcaspica and S. diffinaria are distributed locally in Turkey, Caucasus, Iran and Afghanistan; there fore, they are considered as rare species.
