Determination of Some Runner Plants Characteristics of Some Strawberry Cultivars in Van Ecolojical Conditions

Abstract

Dr. Hüdai YILMAZAralık 2005, 25 sayfaBu çalışma bazı çilek çeşitlerinin Van ekolojik koşullarında fide verimözelliklerini tespit etmek amacı ile Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi BahçeBitkileri Bölümü Araştırma ve Uygulama Bahçesinde yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmanıntemelini oluşturan Muir, Elvira, Moraline, Aiko, Tioga, Delmarvel, Douglas,Rapella, Evita, Tudla ve Northeastern çilek çeşitlerine ait frigo fideler 3 tekerrürlüolarak ve her tekerrürde 5 bitki olmak üzere tam şansa bağlı deneme desenine göredikilmiştir.Elde edilen verilere göre; çeşitlerin fide verim özellikleri incelendiğinde enfazla 1. kalite fide verimi Evita (12.67 adet / bitki ) çeşidinde, en az 1. kalite fideverimi ise (1.67 adet / bitki) ile Northeastern çeşidinde tespit edilmiştir. En fazla 2.kalite fide verimi Rapella (29.00 adet / bitki) çeşidinde, en az 2. kalite fide verimi ise(9.33 adet / bitki) ile Northeastern çeşidinde tespit edilmiştir.Bu çalışma ile denemeye alınan 11 çilek çeşidinden Evita ve Rapella' nınVan ekolojik koşullarında fide verim özelliklerinin diğer çilek çeşitlerine göre dahauygun olduğu belirlenmiştir.Anahtar kelimeler: Çilek, Çeşit, Ekoloji, Frigo fide, Van.ABSTRACTDETERMINATION OF SOME RUNNER PLANTS CHARACTERISTICS OFSOME STRAWBERRY CULTIVARS IN VAN ECOLOJICAL CONDITIONSKILIÇEL, İlhamiMSc. Prof. Dr. Hüdai YILMAZDecember 2005, 25 pagesThis study was carried out in the orchard of horticulture depertmant ofYüzüncü Yıl Universty in order to determine the seedling characteristic of somestrawberry cultivars in Van ecolojical condition. Five frigo runner plant from theeleven starwberry cultivars Muir, Elvira, Moraline, Aiko, Tioga, Delmarvel,Douglas, Rapella, Evita, Tudla and Northeaster were planted in per plot with threereplications based on the completely randomised experimental desing.According to the result of two-year study while Evita cultivar was found tohave the highest yield for 1 st quality runner plant ( 12.67 number / plant ),Northeastern cultivar was found to have the lowest yield for 1 st class runner plant (1.67 number / plant ). While Rapella variety was found to have the highest yield for2 st quality runner plant ( 29.00 number / plant ), Northeastern variety was found tohave the lowest yield for 2 st class runner plant (9.33 number / plant ).In this study, as a result, Evita and Rapella were determined as the bestcultivars based on their runner planting yield characteristic in Van ecolojicalconditions.Key words: Strawberry, Cultivars, Ecology, Runner plant, Van.
