Use Errors That Students Make in Learning Arabic
Abstract
Arapça, Müslümanların kutsal kitabı olan Kur'ân-ı Kerim'in dili olması, Peygamber (s.a.v)'in hadislerinin, tefsir, fıkıh, kelam gibi temel islam bilimlerinin ana kaynaklarının Arapça olması sebebiyle Müslümanlar için çok önemli bir dildir. Ayrıca, günümüzde geniş bir coğrafyadaki halklar tarafından kullanılıyor olması ve Birleşmiş Milletler Örgütünün de resmi dillerinden biri olması bu önemi daha da arttırmaktadır. Ülkemizde, Arapça eğitiminin tarihi çok eskilere dayanmaktadır. Önceleri daha çok medreselerde öğretilen bu dil, günümüzde İmam-Hâtip liselerinde, İlahiyat Fakültelerinde ve Edebiyat Fakültesi Arap Dili Bölümlerinde de öğretilmektedir. Ancak öğrenciler bu dili öğrenirken, bu dili diğer birçok dilden farklı kılan hareke olgusu, kelimenin müzekker-müennes, marife-nekre olması, şahıs zamirlerinin fazlalığı ve tekil, ikil ve çoğul formatında olması gibi nedenlerden dolayı kullanım hatası yapmaktalar. Biz de bu çalışmamızda, en çok kullanım hatası yapılan bazı konularda sorular hazırladık. Bu soruları, 2011 eğitim-öğretim yılında Van Merkez İmam-Hatip Lisesi son sınıfta ve Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi birinci sınıfta eğitim gören öğrencilere sorduk. Bu öğrencilerin yaptıkları kullanım hatalarını, konu başlıklarına ayırarak tek tek tespit ettik. Çalışmamızın sonucunda, iki öğrenci grubunun yaptıkları kullanım hatalarının olası sebeplerini ve bu hatalara çözüm önerilerini işledik.
Arabic is a very important language for Muslims because of being language of Muslims' holy book, The Holy Quran, and being Arabic is language of the Prophet's hadiths and the main source of Islamic science such as tafsir, fiqh, kalam. Moreover, nowadays this importance is further increased due to use of this language by people in a large geographical area and to be the official language of the United Nations Organization. In our country, history of Arabic education goes back a long way. In the beginning, this language that is mostly taught in madrasas, today in Islamic divinity students at high-school, in the Faculty of Theology and Faculty of Arts in Arabic Language Department are also taught. However, when students learn this language, they do use errors for some reasons like vowel point fact, word to be masculine gender-feminine gender, definite-indefinite, excess of personal pronouns and to be in singular, dual and plural format that make this language different from many other languages. In our study, we have prepared questions that are made the most use mistake in some issues. We asked these questions, in the academic year of 2011, the student who have education at Van Merkez İmam-Hatip high school final year students and who, in the first grade, have education at the Faculty of Theology of Yüzüncü Yıl University. We determined by separating subject headings one by one use errors that these students made. As a result of our study, we discussed the possible causes of use errors that two groups of students made and we also deal solutions to these errors.
