Numerical Solutions of Singularly Perturbed Boussinesq System

Abstract

Bu çalışmada singüler pertürbe özellikli Boussinesq sistemi için başlangıç-sınır değer problemlerinin sonlu farklar metodu ile nümerik çözümleri incelenmiştir.Bu tip problemler matematiksel fiziğin ve akışkanlar mekaniğinin çeşitli alanlarındakullanılmaktadırlar. İlk olarak ele alınan problemler için asimptotikdeğerlendirmeler yapıldı. Daha sonra düzgün olmayan özel şebeke üzerinde üstelbaz fonksiyonları ile ağırlık fonksiyonu ve integral biçiminde kalan terim içereninterpolasyon kuadratür formülleri kullanılarak uygulanan integral özdeşliklerimetodu ile singüler perturbasyon parametresine göre düzgün yakınsak iki katlı üstelfark şemaları kuruldu. Önerilen fark problemleri için yakınsama hızlarıdeğerlendirildi. Nümerik sonuçların teorik sonuçlarla uyumlu olduğu görüldü.

In this study, we investigate the numerical solutions of the initial-boundaryvalue problems for singularly perturbed Boussinesq system. The equations of thistype arise in different areas of mathematical physics and fluid mechanics. Firstly,asymptotic estimates for the original problems are estabilished. Next, two leveldifference method on an special non-uniform mesh, based on using finiteexponential functions in space and appropriate quadrature formulas with remainderterm in integral form is presented. The difference schemes are shown to converge tothe continuous solution uniformly with respect to the perturbation parameter.Numerical results are essentially in agreement with the theoretical analysis.
