Human and Human's Searching of Meaning According To Albert Camus

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, varoluşçu filozoflar arasında gösterilen yirminci yüzyıl sanatçı-filozoflarından Albert Camus'nün insan anlayışı ele alınmıştır. Camus, insanın varoluşsal sorunları özellikle absürd ve trajik durumundan yola çıkmıştır. Camus, Nietzsche'den sonra nihilizm (hiççilik) problemini ele almış ve bu mantığı sonuna kadar götürmüştür. Sonuçta, nihilizmin insan açısından bir çıkmaz olduğunu görmüştür. Özellikle absürd (uyumsuz-saçma) karşısındaki intihar ve umut gibi tavırları eleştirmiştir. Camus, temeli yıkma değil yaratma mantığına dayanan başkaldırma felsefesinde absürdün bilincindeki insanı temel almıştır. Camus'nün başkaldırı ahlakı yok etmeden değil, yaşamdan yana olan bir anlayıştır.

In this work, the humanbeing perception of Albert Camus, who is one of the author- philosopher of twentieth century and is pointed among the existentialist philosophers, was dealt with. Camus started from human?s existential problems especially from his absurd an tragic situation. Camus is the one who discussed the problem of nihilism an let to the end of this matige after Nietzsche. In the end he found that nihilism is an impasse in terms of human. He critisized the attitudes towards absurd such as suicide and hope. Camus based on the man who is aware of absurd in philosophy of revolt the basis of which is the logic of creation, not destruction. Camus?s morality of rebellion is a concept which is not in favor of destruction but is in favor of living.
