Islamism Relations and Development in Turkey: National Opinion Movement

Abstract

Kalkınma düşüncesi, ilerleme, gelişme, büyüme ve modernleşme kavramlarının ideolojik düzlemde yeniden üretilmesi sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Azgelişmiş olgusundan hareketle tanımlanan kalkınma kavramının düşünsel ve tarihsel arka planı, gelişmiş ülkeler seviyesine ulaşmaktır. Azgelişmiş bir ülke olarak Türkiye'de, kalkınma tartışmaları nasıl bir kalkınma olacağı problematiği üzerinden farklı siyasal hareketler tarafından tartışılmıştır. Siyasal bir hareket olarak ilk defa Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nda ortaya çıkan İslamcılık, Cumhuriyet döneminden sonra 1960'larda kalkınma söylemi ile farklı bir siyasal alanı oluşturmuştur. Mili Görüş Hareketi olarak adlandırılan Siyasal İslamcı hareketin ideolojik çizgisini kalkınma düşüncesi belirlemiştir. Bu bağlamda kalkınma düşüncesinin Milli Görüş Hareketiyle yakın ilişkisi vardır. Milli Görüş Hareketi, maddi kalkınma, manevi kalkınma, Adil Düzen ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma düşüncesiyle birlikte azgelişmişlik sorununa ve modernleşme hareketlerine alternatif çözüm arayışının bir ürünüdür. Buradan hareketle çalışmamızın amacı Milli Görüş Hareketi'nde kalkınma söyleminin tarihsel ve maddi koşullar bağlamında incelenmesidir. The idea of development emerged as a result of the reproduction of the concepts of progress, development, growth and modernization at the ideolojical level. The intellectual and historical background of the concept of development, which is defined from the underdeveloped phenomenon, is to reach the level o developed countries. As an underdeveloped country in Turkey, the development debate has been discussed by different political movements out how a development would be problematic. Islamism, which emerged as a political movement in Ottoman Empire fort he first time, created a different political fiaeld with the development discourse in the 1960s after the Republican period. The ideolojical line of the political Islamist movement, called the National Vision Movement, was determined by the idea of development. In this context, development thought has a close relationship with the National Vision Movement. The National Vision Movement is a prduct of the search for alternative solutions of the problem of underdevelopment and modernization movements with the idea of material development, spiritual development, Fair Order and sustainable development. From this point of view, the aim of our study to examine the development discourse in the National Vision Movement in the context of historical and material conditions.
