Banach Spaces

Abstract

Banach uzayı kavramı, Hilbert uzayının bir genellemesidir. İç çarpım ifadesinde ele alınmayan norm Banach uzyında vardır. Banach uzayı olup Hilbert uzayı olmayan örnekler mevcut olduğundan genelleme oldukça faydalı olmaktadır.Banach uzayında hem norma dayalı metrik özellikler hem de normların denklik sınıflarına dayalı topolojik özellik söz konusudur.Bu çalışmada Banach uzayı ile ilgili varlık süreci normlu uzaylar üzerinden ele alınacak; lineer operatörler ve fonksiyoneller ile Hahn-Banach teoremi verilerek belli bazı sonuçlar Banach limitine uygulamasıyla incelenecektir.Anahtar kelimeler: Normlu uzaylar, Banach uzayları, Lineer operatör, Bölüm uzayları, Dual uzaylar.

A Banach space is a generalization of a Hilbert space. A Banach space contains a norm that is not obtained by an inner product. Since there exist some examples which are not Hilbert spaces that are Banach spaces, generalization of a Hilbert space is rather useful.Both metrical properties based on norms and topological properties based on classes of equivalent norms will be taken into consideration.In this study, the existence process relating to Banach spaces will be treated through normed spaces; after introducing linear operators and functionals and the Hahn-Banach theorem, some certain results will be investigated with an application of Banach limits.Key words: Normed spaces, Banach spaces, Linear operator, Dual spaces.
