Some Mathematical Models Used in Oncology

Abstract

Bu tez yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezin birinci bölümünde, diferansiyel denklemler ve tez konusu ile ilgili bazı açıklayıcı kısa bilgiler verildi. İkinci bölümde, tez konusu ile ilgili literatürde bulunan bazı çalışmalara yer verildi ve ilgili bazı kaynaklar belirtildi. Tezin üçüncü bölümünde ise, bu tezde kullanılacak olan materyal ve yöntem belirtildi. Tezin dördüncü bölümünde ise, literatürde geçen tez ve tez konusuyla ilgili olan bazı temel tanımlar ve örnekler verildi. Tezin beşinci bölümünde ise, literatürde geçen ve kanser ile ilgili olan bazı matematiksel modellenmeler ve ilgili sonuçlara yer verildi. Tezin altıncı bölümünde ise, literatürde mevcut bulunan prostat kanseri ile ilgili bazı matematiksel modellenmeler incelendi. Tezin yedinci bölümünde ise, kanserin hormonal tedavisinin parametrik analizi ile ilgili olan bir çalışma özetlendi. This thesis consists of seven chapters. In the first chapter of the theis, some explanatory information in relation to ordinary differential equations and the topic of the thesis were given. In the second chapter, some scientific works in relation to the topic of this thesis, which can be found in the literature, were presented and some realted sources were noted. In the third chapter of this thesis, the materials and methods to be used in this thesis were presented. In the fourth chapter of the thesis, some basic definitions and examples in relation to the subject of this thesis were given. In the fifth chapter of the thesis, some mathematical models of cancer, which are available in the literature, and qualitative results of that models were examined. In the sixth chapter of the thesis, some mathematical modeling of prostate cancer, which can be found in the literature, were investigated. In the seventh chapter of the thesis, a scientic work on the parametric analysis of hormonal treatment of cancer is was summarized briefly.
