Economic Activities and Political Reflections of the Land Products Office (1938-1950)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, tarih boyunca Türk toplumunun hayatında büyük bir öneme sahip olan tarımsal faaliyetlerin kurumsallaşmasını sağlayan Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi'nin iktisadî faaliyetleri ve bu faaliyetlerin Türk siyasetine yansımaları incelenmektedir.Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi, ülke genelinde tarımsal faaliyetleri düzenlemek, ürünleri değerlendirmek, üretici ve tüketicileri korumak amacıyla kurulmuştur. II. Dünya Savaşı'nın başlamasıyla birlikte ülkede uygulanan savaş ekonomisi Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi'ne yeni yükümlülükler getirmiştir.Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi'nin bu faaliyetleri sırasında zaman zaman yaşanan aksaklıklar ve olumsuzluklar toplum nezdinde başta köylü kesimi olmak üzere çeşitli sosyal grupların Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi iktidarına tepki duymalarına neden olmuştur. Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) iktidarına tepki duyan bu sosyal gruplar, iç ve dış konjöktörlerin etkisiyle öfke ve tepkilerini o dönem içerisinde yeni kurulmuş olan Demokrat Parti'yi (DP) destekleyerek göstermişlerdir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi, Tarım, II. ABSTRACTIn this study, throughout history, economic actıvities of Land Product Office to provide ınstitution of agricutural activities to be critically important ın Turkish society life and reflection to Turkish polities of this activities have been examined.Land Product Office ın country a whole with aim to arronge agricultural activities and to evoloate ıt?s produc, to protect producer and cunsumer, have been established. With beginnig of II. Word War, the war economy applied ın the country has been give to Land Product Office new obligations.Foultiness and negativeness from time to time to be lived ın the course of this activities of Land Product Office, ın the society opinion, to gether with primary willager section of different social groups, to react Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) political power have caused. This social groups to be reacted of CHP political power with the effect of ınternal an external conjunctor, has showed supporting, ın the period Demokrat Parti (DP) to be setup newly them anger and response.Key Words: Land Product Office, Agriculture, II.
