| dc.description.abstract | Hearing aids, which increase the volume of audible sounds, are essential to treating hearing loss. Hearing aids also boost phones and portable gadgets to improve electrical system noise at public gatherings, which falls into this category. In individuals without sufficient hearing with conventional hearing aids, implantable hearing devices such as cochlear implants, osseointegrated implants, and electrically driven middle ear implants play a crucial role. The inner and outer hair cells of the basilar membrane within the cochlea receive amplified acoustic sound from an electrically driven device known as a hearing aid. The most fundamental components of a hearing aid are the microphone, amplifier, and speaker. © 2025 Springer Nature Switzerland AG. | en_US |
