dc.description.abstract The 1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid 2, obtained from the furandione 1 and 2-hydrazinopyridine, was decarboxylated to give 4-benzoyl-5-phenyl-1-pyridin-2-yl-pyrazole derivative 3. Some ester 4 derivatives of 2 were prepared by the Fischer esterification reactions of 2 with various alcohols. Cyclocondensation reactions of 2 with phenyl hydrazine or hydrazine hydrate led to the formation of derivatives of pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyridazine 5 derivatives. en_US
