dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to investigate the adsorption of the 2,2 Dichlorovinylphosfate (DDVP) on raw and modified bentonite using High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). The modified bentonite were prepared by adding HNO3 and Na2CO3. The Freundlich adsorption isotherm defines DDVP adsorption in aqueous and ethanol-aqueous solutions by raw and modified bentonite. The variables of temperature, time andpH were observed on adsorption of DDVP. Then maximum adsorption of DDVP capacity was measured on bentonite modified with HN03 in pH 3.0 and 40°C. The MBB clay used in experimental work played a major role on the adsorption of DDVP so MBB has better characteristics than other adsorbents and The Freundlich isotherms of MBB in aqueous ethanol solution was better than isotherms of aqueous solution for much better to adsorb of DDVP. © Medwell Journal, 2011. | en_US |
