Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine diverse problems of undergraduate Syrian students at Yuzuncu Yil University, Turkey. The study was conducted with 82 students using both quantitative and qualitative data collection tools. Descriptive statistics, t-test and descriptive analysis technique were used for data analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that Syrian students have problems in the four basic language skills; feel high levels (often) of homesickness; have good relations with their classmates and administrative staff, but some of them have serious problems with their instructors and with the local people.
