dc.description.abstract ısas al-anbıya is a kind of history of prophets. In the stories of the prophets, the Quran, hadith, interpretation and Israeli reference are taken as a source. Creation in the stories of the Prophet and Hz. The last prophet from Adam, Hz. The lives of the prophets up to Muhammad, their exemplary stories and their struggles with unbelievers are told. Warnings and advice are given to individuals and the society through exemplary stories told. The principles of Islam are explained. XIII. The prophet stories, examples of which we have come across in Turkish literature since the 19th century, are generally prose, while the ones that are poetry have been written in mesnevi. The peygember parable, which is the subject of our study, is in the form of poetry and has been poetry on the same rhyme. In this respect, it mostly carries the characteristics of the poetry form of ode. The poem, consisting of twenty one leaf, registered in the Süleymaniye Library Hacı Mahmud Efendi Collection, consists of 587 couplets. In the manuscript where the manuscript is, there is no information about the author, printer, date of writing or writing. The language used in the work suggests that the poem was written in the last period of Old Anatolian Turkish. The transcribed text of the prophet story in the form of a poem was established in the study. The work was examined in terms of language, form and content features. Examples from the facsimile of the poem were added to the end of the study. © 2021, Abidin Temizer. All rights reserved. en_US
