Abstract
Feeding lambs with high grain rations (80-95% concentrate) generally increases the incidence of digestive disturbances related with rumen acidosis (Britton and Stock, 1986). Rumen acidosis varies from subacute to acute from, and is associated with various secondary disordes such as laminitis, polioencephalomalacia, rumenitis, and liver abscesses (Brent, 1976; Nocek, 1988). The present study was aimed to investigate the levels of some vitamins, trace elements and electrolytes in rams with laminitis.
