| dc.description.abstract | Design and manufacture phases of a small scale construction machine developed for shoveling and grading operations are described. Once the coordinates and height of the field are defined, the machine executes grading operation without needing any additional command. The machine detects position of its dozer blade by a situated precise positioning receiver and determines the necessary maneuvers to fulfill the next time step of the grading operation with its artificial intelligence algorithm. Artificial intelligence software computes the operation duration of electric motors to execute the maneuvers and sends this information to the main control unit. Main control unit executes the received commands by operating the corresponding electric motors. | en_US |
