| dc.description.abstract | A new species of Eriococcidae (Hemipbtera: Coccoidea), Neoacanthococcus atlihani Kaydan & Kozar sp. nov., collected on Tamarix sp. from Turkey is described and illustrated based on the adult female. A redescription and illustration of the adult female of Neoacanthococcus tamaricicola Borchsenius, 1948, are given, and a key for Tamarix-feeding eriocococids in the Palaearctic zoogeographic region is provided. | en_US |
